The Grosse Scheidegg is a steep climb comparable to the Passo Giau in Italy. On your Brevet cycling holiday you will climb the Grosse Scheidegg from the Grindelwald side climbing 905m over 9.9km at a leg busting average gradient of 9.1%.

The view of the infamous north face of the Eiger provide a welcome distraction as the gradient heads north of 10% for the final 4km.

Climbing the Grosse Scheidegg

What is it like to climb the Grosse Scheidegg?

This truly is the most beautiful Pass I have ever ridden, and with the road closed to cars, it’s an all around 5 Star experience.
