Col des Mosses 1,445m
The Col des Mosses is a climb regularly featured in the Tour de Romandie as it provides a perfect link between the high mountains of the Valais Alps and the rolling hills of the Swiss Plateau.
On Brevet’s Gruyère Cycling Tour holiday the Col des Mosses will be the final climb standing between you and a well earned trip to the spa next to the finish line!

In the Gruyère Cycling Tour you’ll be climbing the Col des Mosses shortly after the fast flowing descent from Les Diablerets. With over 60km and a 1,000m already in the legs the mellow finish to the Col des Mosses is a welcome relief.
The profile is almost the exact opposite of the Col du Pillon, the climb that precedes the Col des Mosses in the Gruyère Cycling Tour. At first you gain height rapidly through a series of switchbacks before the road opens out in front of you with the Col des Mosses in view – allowing you to set a steady tempo and get ready for the 40km descent!
